I'm 62 and I now have realised that thought my life I have probably stepped over or just walked straight past some of the most beautiful gemstones and rocks in the world. Wow look what we probably all missed.

When I was a little girl, my father would always scold me whenever I have my head up while walking. He used to say that, " One can find more things on the ground than up in the air." Makes sense to me know. :-) Cheers, Liz

I have been obsessed with stones and rocks since I was a little girl, and as I am watching this video I'm fidgeting and visually stimulated by everything I'm looking at! I would love to have the opportunity to physically visit a place like this....I would probably lose my damn mind!! ♥

Oh my word, I would love to come hunting for rocks with you two. I've been fascinated with rocks all my life although I don't know a great deal about them, I would love to learn more about them from someone who clearly has such a passion for them like you have. This is the first time I have seen a video by you and I am going to watch your other ones. Many thanks from the UK and myself. Brightest Blessings x

I never knew that these stones are precious! We have lots of this kinds in our river. Traditionally, we go there to do wash our clothes and it has many precious rocks and agates too, I have seen lots but I don't have the knowledge. Now, I am learning and watching to gain knowledge about its differences. Thank you!

AWESOME finds. My Mother started a rock garden many years ago. Everywhere her and my dad went somewhere, fishing, hunting, visiting relatives in other states, she would go rocking. Her and my Dad's ashes are now in that rock garden. I have some pretty rocks I would like to tumble and add to it. My tumbler recently broke and I've hinted to my 3 daughters that I would like a double one. My birthday is this July and I will be 68.

We went on a campingtrip to the Czech republic last year, near our campsite there was a river and from the moment I discovered it I went there every day to go gemhunting. I found lots of quarts and agate. They're not polished so they look like regular stones but if you sprinkle some water on them you can see the beauty, that's what I love about river gemstones. We also discorvered a stonemine not far from our campsite and we found LOADS of jaspers. jaspers are one of the most beautiful gemstones in my opinion, I love the colors :)

JASPER/RED JASPER Type: Sedimentary rock Feature: Red color; opaque with clear, white, or black veins or spots Some discovery spot: Worldwide This rock (Jasper) got its name from its spots and stripes. The word jasper means, "spotted stone" on Greek. Polished jasper is used to make fancy jewelry or carved into sculpture. Because it is so hard, humans long ago used jasper to make cups, bowls, and knives

I like the little fishes and I also like the background music. I just noticed that too. It's like the Celtic or Irish music I sometimes listen to. The fish - when I go walking in the creek they bite my ankles, but I let them do it because it doesn't hurt. Whatever it is they want to get by biting my ankles, I might as well let them get it.

I am in the kangaroo valley at the moment. I found the best stuff under the Hampton bridge. I did go up the ‘upper kangaroo river’ but was hard to find spots to park a car. Found a few spots but it has been raining so the water is higher. I did find green jasper, petrified wood (some with agate filling in small spots) agate (or chalcedony) pieces that are almost clear, some small fossil remains and I think red jasper (smaller pieces) I was hoping to find wulfenite but couldn’t. Green jasper seems fairly easy to find.
