I absolutely love this channel. My family and I CONSTANTLY passed this home driving down Lincoln to reach Birdsboro. I'm so upset I didn't know about this home until now!

I spent much time in this house and took many photographs of it since the mid-1980s. I lived abroad during its years as a Halloween attraction, so I never saw it during that time. What I can say is that there were absolutely paranormal things happening in the house. Beyond landfill stuff and toxic waste. (What a mess Peifer made with all that illegal dumping.) Paranormal activity is either something someone believes in or doesn't. It's hard to "prove." As a researcher myself, I can offer nothing but this: as a visitor of that house, I know something was going on there. Not sure what or who was angry, but the vibe was cold and angry and it often scared me out of my boots. I am so glad for this video and this research, as well as the longer accounts on Don Peifer's disservice to the area's residents and environment.

I lived in Birdsboro in 85-86. Always loved that house. Was beautiful when the trees were still there. What a shame for such an old historic house. Makes me sad.

I have often wondered about this house and what the real story was. I remember going through the haunted house attraction back in the late 90s. Thank you so much for doing the research and creating this video. Great job!

I remember going back there in the 80s. Now theyve been cutting the trees down and you can see it open now. Its sad without the trees now. Thank you for this.

I grew up in Exeter and was always fascinated by this house in the 90s and 00s. My dad worked for the dominos on Perkiomen ave. as a 2nd job and mentioned that he delivered pizzas to the house when it was a haunted attraction, so seeing 7:56 with the dominos boxes was very weird haha. Great job documenting the full story

This place made the best haunted house… my friends and I have some funny memories in there. Pioneer crossing, AKA JP Mascaro. They are clearing out everything they own in the area (which is a lot!) and calling it “area beautification”

Great video! Would love to see something about Wernersville state hospital, talk about a creepy place, rumor has it a tunnel is under the whole facility

Wernersville State would make a good spooky subject for a video. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks!

I remember back in the late 80s or early 90s always hearing about the hauntings of this place, so a friend of mine and I went there one night. We didn't take flashlights because we were actually trespassing. We never went beyond the front room because we didn't want to fall through a hole in the floor or meet something in the dark with no safety of a flashlight. With our hair standing on end we quickly left. So, what started all the stories? I love your meticulous research. I am a librarian and a genealogist. One of my hobbies is researching the inhabitants of buildings. I have one unpublished work of a very old mill in Oley. I invested a ton of time into it and would love to finish it one day. Thank you.

Loved your video! I use to make my Mom drive me by there sometimes because I truly believed it was haunted!! She actually did go in there when it opened as a haunted house an said it was very popular an that lines would form out to the street just to get in. It's a shame I saw this place will/is torn down😕
