I’m sorry but two of the dancers were participants of Lizzo’s search for back ground dancers where she specifically wanted big girls with high stamina. The girl with the bigger hair started the competition doing acrobatic and trained dancing, and watching the recent video talking about fat shaming she physically looked as if she was unable to do the same thing in which she was fired for. That’s not fat shaming that’s remaining the same expectations you set when you first started. Another thing is why did she audition for season 2 off Lizzo’s competition show? Another thing is they said the girls who were cool with going to the sex shows were able to fly in Lizzo’s private jet, they were able to go on vacations, and they could always be around Lizzo, but the ones who wasn’t into it stayed in the hotel, had to fly commercial, and didn’t get much time with Lizzo 🤔 is that sexual harassment or were your feelings hurt? Did Lizzo say touch them or you’re fired, or was it girl have a drink let’s have a good time, or did you want to be in her circle so bad you stated? Which one is it because diverting ain’t right

@MsFunky is right. It is okay if people don't like you. Disliking someone is not a crime. You cannot force anyone to like you, nor should you change who you are to make them like you. Just move on and continue being yourself. Trust me, you will meet people who cannot get enough of you let alone like you. I like and compliment people I know don't like me, but I don't hang around them out of respect for their feelings. I do not determine my feelings about people based on how they feel about me. If there is something about them I like then I like them, period. I don't care whether they like me or not. That also works in reverse. I love who I am, and I know I do not do or say anything to hurt anyone. Thusly, I will never change who I am just to fit in with anyone or people who do not like me.

This is why people dont speak out, we are already labelling them disgruntled employees because Lizzo is a star and the one with money and clout. Same goes for people who experience other types of abuse, we question why they waited so lonh, why this, why that and then accuse them of lying. I believe these dancers. And I know cases like these are hard to prove even for the common man in the workplace. If I thought they were lying, I would have written it in my comment instead of writing, "I will follow it." Apropos, three people can definitely lie, absolutely! I have defended people who were lied on by far more than three people. In some cases, 10+ people lied on one person, and it took only one person to come clean to get the rest to come clean. The term "I don't believe *it or this*" means one does not believe the situation or what is being said for many different reasons. This is why I never made it 'up' to the executive levels working for anyone: I keep my boundaries between work and personal VERY clear- your co-workers are NOT your friends, idc, IDC- and my co- workers hated that 1) despite me being friendly and polite, they could never 'figure me out' to know what kind of box to put me in, and 2) that I was ok with letting whoever think whatever because I didn't need validation from anyone. 🤷🏾‍♀️ It was actually funny to watch at times. 😂 Yes, I probably could've gotten higher but the cost for me personally was too high. And to Q’s point, I think the weight shaming allegations are probably true but there’s some context missing. That said, I could totally see Lizzo chastising her dancers for gaining weight if it meant that stamina was loss or would be affected in the process. And also it’s justified from a business standpoint if heavier dancers raised budgetary concerns, meaning Lizzo’s team had to incur the added cost for investing in new dance uniforms to accommodate her weight gain.

Before a lot of the blogs pick it up. I watched two blogs that reported it. In one blogs report had the interview Lizzo did at the radio station talking about her being interested burlesque show. Her response was surprising to me and this was before she had dancers. But, like Al said, “Sometimes the abused become the abuser’s.” Everyone doesn’t heal the same from trauma. Also, as a professional boss or supervise I think favoritism can create dissension to the other employee’s when it’s blatantly displayed. If you hired me for a job and I do it well,..weather you like me or not, pay me for my value. I shouldn’t have to compromise my self worth for off stage antics.

I think a lot of us tend to overlook the fact that we have an undeveloped 6th sense, intuition. And that said intuition can perceive when a person is being disingenuous. That said, the fact that these young ladies essentially snitched and turned on Lizzo for the sake of having a lawsuit to me meant, that she probably sensed a rat and also that these women weren’t genuinely her friends, which put Lizzo on the defensive. I’m not victim blaming here but it’s obviously that these women were opps in the making, yet weren’t aware of it themselves. I do believe there are 3 sides to every story, and thus far, we’ve heard only ☝🏽. My $.02

On one hand funky is right because an artist firing a dancer because they don’t LIKE them and don’t want them on tour doesn’t sound crazy to me. Where I have a problem is the alleged sexual misconduct. For one, not wanting to enthusiastically participate in off the clock sexual activities in strip clubs and nude cabarets should not be a factor in deciding how much you LIKE an employee and if what was said about the strip clubs is true, it wouldn’t surprise me if the dancers’ energy changed dramatically after those occurrences, and if they started looking at everything differently. You could say “well they should’ve just quit” or “they could’ve just left” but if it’s true, I’m still glad they’re coming out and doing all of this because Lizzo needs to know that putting someone in a sexually uncomfortable position is NOT OK. Even if it’s just with friends… you wouldn’t start a group chant to pressure a friend to sexually engage with a stripper after they’ve already said NO and are showing reluctance. It’s fkn creepy, especially given the fact that they were doing this to the girl that they found out was a virgin. Idc if “oh she should’ve said no” because that doesn’t change the fact that’s it’s nasty af to do that to someone in the first place. If it’s true, hopefully this will teach Lizzo how to act because if it was a man doing that to his female employees in a strip club we would be calling that behavior what it is: disgusting.
