My favourite and most memorable panel of kuroshitsuji manga is actually her inner monologue of high heels. She refuse to wear them even though she likes them, and she keeps on wearing childish flat shoes because she realized that She grew tall faster than Ciel, so as Ciel wear high heeled shoes, she choose to wear flats, to make sure she is not taller than him, literally and figuratively, as she refused to show her sword fighting skills.

I mean Lizzy's mother and Queen Victoria are the epitome of you can be both ladylike and powerful at the same time.

There's a scene in book of the Atlantic where Lizzie's family is like "they'll be safe with eachother, a brave soul wouldn't hesitate to protect their betrothed" or something along those lines to Sebastian and Sebastian (and probably the audience in that moment) believe they mean Ciel protecting Lizzie when really I'm fairly certain they meant the other way around but it's a moment you don't really notice unless you watch it a second time with knowledge of Lizzie's sword skills

Every day people to this day are marrying their cousins to this day. Many places in the US make it so that the earliest cousin you can marry is your 3rd cousin. I moved to a town in middle school where ALMOST everybody who was born and raised there was related. It was awkward because they actually talked about it in school. Then when the teacher tried to tell me that I was most likely related to them too I got onto an arguement with them. I informed them that I was born from 2 swiss immigrants and had moved there well after I was born. The teacher got upset, but shut their mouth.

Honestly I like how in the anime, you can tell Ciel cares for her despite how annoyed he gets of her. He tries to please her after Sebastian told him to mind his manners when he nearly hits her for breaking the family heirloom, always goes to save her when she's in trouble, especially in season 2, and was concerned in book of circus when the troupe invade his home as Lizzy was first in mind: but calmed down when he realized "Oh she's fine, those useless servents weren't hired to be 'Servants' anyway ...."
