Yo Doc....U should check out his beef with Kool Moe Dee....The Beef between them lasted awhile...back n forth diss tracks.....I think the first diss track was by Kool Moe Dee called "How You Like Me Now". KMD thought LL was biting his rap style...So he took the first shot at LL,then LL would release "Jack The Ripper,Then KMD came back with "Let's Go",Then LL came out with "To The Break Of Dawn(He Takes A Shot At Ice Tee & Mc Hammer Also),Next He Came Out With "Mama Said Knock You Out",Lastly KMD came out with "Death Blow". I think that was it ? He’s my favorite ever. But, Why is LL Cool J not considered GOAT? Let's look at his resume Has more classic albums than Jay and Em. Radio, BAD, Walking With A Panther, Mama Said Knock You Out. Jay and Em have 3 classics while LL has 4 Has remained relevant for 30 years (3 decades) Was one of the first rap acts to go mainstream along with Kurtis Blow and Run DMC Has diversity. He made soft songs, hard songs, songs for clubs, women, men, etc First rapper to be signed to Def Jam Made Def Jam into a hip-hop empire label The “Hey Lover” video was one of the first hip hop videos to be featured on VH1. LL Cool J received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2016. Along with Run-DMC, he helped establish New York City as a hip-hop powerhouse in the 1980s. In 2017, LL Cool J made history as the first hip-hop artist to ever receive a Kennedy Center Honors. Was one of the first to star in a major movie All these things can easily make someone in the GOAT conversation. But why isn't he brought up often in top 10s and why is he underrated now?
