Great results with the new barrels. Cool "hoodie"😎. The turning of the pin helped, but I guess you need a hardened pin. Nice video Sean 😃

This is exciting...congrats on your progress:) When using the mil spring, the velocity screw should be removed. MCS has maxed out its length without the velocity screw. Higher FPS will result because it's keeping the valve (poppet and pin) open for a longer period of time, yet at the cost of warping and shortening the mil spring...as you've noticed. There are a couple of YT video comments by MCS about the 468 dating back 6-7 years ago stating that they've reached 600+ FPS "easy". Idk...I've never seen those results, but interesting nonetheless. Reliable 35-40j using shaped kinetics, this could be one of the best all around markers out there. Keep up the good work!!

Excellent point about removing the adjuster completely. Too late for that now 😂 I have seen some wild claims but no one has ever produced and tangible proof.

Temporary 😅

@@lesslethalfordummies 😂 still a save though. If you have the space on the cocking mech and on the upper receiver, try a steel dowel cut to length as you stated without having to trim down the upper portion of the dowel to fit the charge handle.
@lesslethalfordummies10 күн бұрын
@@TheJerzeyGuyyes that will be my first try and see if i can just leave the upper portion the full 6mm diameter.

if you machine a pin using tungsten you might get even heavier springs to function🤔

Hi Sean, I have a question about x68 / Intrubuster C02 piercing cap, sorry it's a different subject than your video. I just punctured my CO2 and all the air came out the little hex screw on the side of the piercing cap. Do you have any idea how to fix this? I know it's supposed to be the same cap as the salt s2. Do you have any experience with this?
@lesslethalfordummies10 күн бұрын
I havent experienced any leaks from my cap as of yet X68 or Salt so i dont have any experience repairing it. There is another channel that had disassembled the Salt cap in pretty good detail and maybe that would help? youtube.com/@frgtdrepsn2904?si=iJ5cTgJ_pasQI57r I would reach out to MCS they may just send you a new one.

I wish I would have bought it from MCS, I got mine from Mercury Rise. They wouldn't even send me a new o-ring when they first failed 😂. Thanks for all the help bud...
@lesslethalfordummies10 күн бұрын
At the very least a replacement cap should be inexpensive. I would still send an email to MCS, Mercury Rise or even Salt and see what it would cost.
@d.f.527710 күн бұрын
I found it on salt's website. It's only $20, so I ordered it from them, half the price they have it for on MCS.
@lesslethalfordummies10 күн бұрын
Bingo! I just saw it for $39.95 on MCS. Good find on the $20 👍🏼
