@@lesslethalfordummies Ah right. So I've got some aftermarket drive springs to try from eBay. They're listed as being specifically for 98, A5 and X7. Only one way to find out right? Install one... I'll let you know if they're any good 👍

Hey do you have a links where I can buy that white bolt? My factory bolt chops a lot of paint no matter the grade. I have a A5 that’s reliable but it chops too much paint I bought a softer paddle for the cyclone feeder today and now I am looking at a softer bolt or any kind of bolt that won’t hit the balls too hard.

I bought this at a local shop. You can also find it at Rockstar Tactical and TechT direct.

Thanks. Just search 1680D Ballistic Nylon on Amazon. You need one yard of fabric folded over for this size barrel.

I've been using one for a 50 Joule HDX and it's survived the impact of 4.6 gram all the way to 8 gram rounds no problem. I've fired from as close as 8 feet all the way to 25 feet back. Sean convinced me to get some ballistic nylon and I'm so happy he recommended it to me.

The angled asa you see on the TMC is part of the launcher itself. It is built in and non transferable.

@@PFunk609 as long as your valve spring isnt too light you should be good. Also big tip is replace the factory oring on the hammer with a slightly thicker one. I cant recall the size at the moment but this helps recock power immensely with heavy drive springs.

@lesslethalfordummies3 ай бұрын
I actually converted this to a bottom grip for a particular reason that has yet to be revealed. This Elite version was originally air through stock although if you think the M17 was big in the ass….this was bigger.

@@lesslethalfordummies oh I see, they don't come designed like that? My Air Ordnance 0.22 cal belt-fed pellet gun (Air Ordnance is a side project of Tippmann) based on the Tippmann Model 98 came with both a bottom ASA and the plastic back stock. Neither are comfortable, using the bottom ASA tank as a shoulder rest just doesn't work with line of sight for me, and if I use the stock I have a tank digging into my guts. I'm contemplating removing both and running it solely as a remote line, stock less hip fired 100 round drum fed Tommy gun effectively lol. Otherwise it's just so un-ergonomic, it's not even funny. I spent a lot on it too, ugh. I don't think I could ever go back to bottom line tanks/shoulder rests again.
