Great cab ride in that pretty part of Wales especially seeing those milk churns at Glynfridwey, good to see that some things never change in rural parts of Wales.Only it would have been much better still if the driver had used the windscreen wiper at the start .

Really nice, good to see that the line doesn't necessarily have to use steam to enjoy the journey. Sad that several comments are rather pathetic bearing in mind the successful completion of the aspirations of many hard workers. Well done Llan! Rich T.

I lived around that area in the 80's and I can remember donating money to a scheme to pay for one foot of track.... I did this a couple of times... I hadn't realised it had reached Corwen.... I'm going back this year for certain.

It is people like you that allowed the railway to make the dream a reality. Without you, this video would not have been possible, and I assure you that everyone at the railway remembers that. Thank You. If you are curious how the railway is getting on now, there is a documentary on it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/epfZfa2Vapueq5osi=LCtrLIr2g2kmX-S1

Had a great time down there in the 70s taken my mate to Corwen Priest Training College just outside Carrog. We visited Bala also. People spoke English with welsh accent, until we opened our mouth then out came the Welsh. Lot of shops lost custom for that ignorance

There is something about the Welsh Valleys that is so wonderful and the Welsh railways are quietly more efficient than the motorways - being Irish and living in Manchester myself, when I go home to Ireland to visit family on SailRail from Holyhead, getting on the connecting train out of Chester to Holyhead through the beautiful Welsh countryside is magical, even late at night in winter 🇮🇪☘️🏴❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ooh bloody miserable Welsh of North Wales who speak in Welsh as soon as they detect the presence of an English s Eater… There was my bike… gone… whose coat is this jacket 😂😂😂

It's a valley in Wales, but of the River Dee which flows into Chester and then to the west of the Wirral (the small peninsula next to Liverpool). The Welsh Valleys is an area in South Wales between Abergavenny and Port Talbot, which used to produce a huge amount of coal and steel.

Would have been great if the driver could have operated the windscreen wiper 😂

Check this out as it could have changed ? When we travel to mid-Wales and beyond to the coast we take in Carrog Stn free parking and a cracking little tea room plus plenty to see and the views are easy on the eye.
