Absolutely fantastic mate, what a great experience, and it couldn't be on a nicer, more scenic railway. The staff and volunteers at Llangollen are absolutely brilliant, during the diesel gala earlier this month, they let me into the cab of 47449 at Llangollen to get some photos - I didn't even have to ask, they just offered to let me in. Brilliant loco and a brilliant railway 👍

Nice, worked on 47's for nearly 50 years. Would love a drive of this one. My old mate Derek Foster did a bit on this railway

I drove Western Champion on the SVR and loved every minute on it but a Class 47 is also on my bucket list and i will check out the Experience courses on this Railway.

@@octopus680 Ooo fantastic, I bet Western Champion was a cracking loco to drive! Experiences for that loco (and any western for that matter) seem to be the fastest selling
