Thanks for all your work to teach this lovely music. Wondering if you've considered adding regular musical notation to the tabs, as for some of us, SO much easier to follow?

What a nice tune, a happy tune. very well played. Do you play other instruments? if so, which?

@@scottmorris4914 not really 😅 I can play some things on other instruments, but I don't play anything at the same level as tin whistle.

Thanks for another great tutorial! Loving the Welsh tunes. My whistle teacher also plays a Burke brass whistle. As you've reviewed so many I'm curious which ones you keep going back to, if any? Do you have top favorites?
@CutiepieTinWhistleАй бұрын
@@JaimeePalmer I think different whistles have different uses. I tend to cycle through a fair few. There are definitely some I hardly ever play though 😅 mostly the ones that need the most air out make the most noise 🤣 As I play from home and favour sweeter, slightly quieter sounds, I usually end up playing Lír whistles (but I have a full set of these so can often find the key I need)
@JaimeePalmerАй бұрын
@@CutiepieTinWhistle That's interesting, thank you! It makes sense that the louder ones take a back seat - gotta keep the neighbors and pets happy XD And good to know about the Lir. That's what I'm currently playing, but as I haven't tried many different ones its difficult to not let Whistle Acquisition Syndrome take over sometimes haha

Considering how much time I’ve spent in the mountains of Snowdonia, I’m surprised it hasn’t occurred to me before to search out Welsh folk tunes…….once again you’ve dug up a gem! And beautifully played. It’s going on the growing list of tunes to learn…..but this one may send me don the rabbit hole :)). Is that you on the rhythm guitar? It fits really nicely.

@@rinkydinkfretboard8737 I have quite a few Welsh tunes on my channel already, it's a country full of music ❤️ I did make the backing track, but I didn't play the instruments, it's made using editing software. x
@rinkydinkfretboard8737Ай бұрын
@ right then, I will set to browsing your channel………again ;) Wow, the backing sounds absolutely natural. Very human. Oh well, I’ve never been an outstandingly skilful player, compared to other humans. So at least it won’t be a new experience for me to be outperformed by machines as well. 😂😂😂
@CutiepieTinWhistleАй бұрын
@rinkydinkfretboard8737 hey, you and me both 🤣🤣 haha It's usually an actual recording sample of an actual human playing the instrument I think, that you can then play around with, so you don't need to be too worried 😜

I love this tune and I love the version that you play. However I can not find this version in standard notation or ABC notation. Could you send it to me or please tell me where to look.
