Man I have an S24 for 30 days now.. I really think about returning the Samsung and getting this Honor. Is it a big difference in the photo area between the two? Is Honor actually better? Before the Samsung I had and I still have my Mate 20 Pro, faithful old friend for almost 6 years now. Can you compare them for me what is better what is worse?

Having both a samsung and an honor I feel like Honor hardware is better (beside build quality that is better on samsung) but for the UI samsung just feels better and better finished with more options

​@@abdellaziz-Hi, I would say if u use zoom a lot s24u is definitely better...software wise I feel one UI has more features as well but magicos is not bad as well...hardware I prefer the fast 80w charging and secure 3d face unlock on the hm6p...but that is me personally...u might wanna try both out to test which u might actually prefer

I have the Magic 5 Ultimate and the photos are very impressive. My daughter is an avid iPhone user and the pictures taken by the Honor phone blew her away at her graduation. The group selfie photos are excellent as well.

Great review! I got mine a few weeks ago, to replace my Huawei Mate 50 Pro. Having Google services again is nice, it feels faster, and the battery life is much better. The zoom, as you said, is not great (and the Mate 50 Pro was worse than the Mate 40 Pro); I believe an update coming up may help. Macro mode is really good. The phone migration from the Huawei was not great at all, I had to do lots of stuff manually and set many apps up again.

I've been using it since May, it feels amazing, some small annoyances, the image quality isn't a 10/10. The PWM is great I never got that eye strain or headaches I got from the S24 Ultra or the Pixel 8 Pro

I come from an S23u and I use an iPhone 15 pro max at the same time as my honor magic 6 pro, and I find the honor better, it's really a perfect balance between android and Apple In the photo part I find the Honor better, especially compared to the Samsung s23u which was very bad! It's very close to the iPhone, but the Honor remains better in photos than my iPhone. In short for 800eur it's a surprise for me and I discovered a phone which meets all the most important criteria which are the best compared to the competition.

My only problem with Honor is they are slow with updates and the lack of customisation. Im enjoying my MagicPad 2 though. Wish there was more to offer in the software department

@@izpcshop7326 Definitely not Samsung and OnePlus level. I mean look at how long it took to get Magic eraser on the Magic 6 pro. My magicpad and thehonor 200 got it like a month or 2 ago??? The Magic 6 pro is supposed to be the flagship yet it's last to receive updates

I am torn between Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Honor Magic 6 Pro. Based on your experience and expertise, which one would you recommend more? I am a photography enthusiast, but I also like my phones to have a certain "fun factor" with all the intuitive and innovative features, which based on what I've seen, Honor Magic 6 Pro has covered. X14Ultra seems to be mostly all about cameras, or am I mistaken?

Both very good. Maybe flip a coin and decide. But the Xiaomi photos have a bit more character to it. Honor has the better phone experience with better battery life and screen.

as a fact I remember seeing the dynamic island on much older Huawei Phones before the iphone 14 .. another fact nothing about apple hardware can be cloned because it's an old tec .. iphone has amazing processor and software but when it comes to hardware they are at least two years behind.

Hello, I use the one from RollingCase as an example. I am very happy with it, the cutouts are perfect and most importantly, the camera is completely protected. Which was very important to me.

i got this phone 2 weeks ago and i can tell u from someone coming from an iphone 14 pro max. everything so far is top notch my only worry was the front camera but it delivers. i use gcam after alot of back and forth between native camera. gcam is just better and more consistant. other stuff i like is the 3d face unlock is just like apple id. and there r countless things copied directly from apple which makes it seem like the iphone of andriods

I have the M6P but i have to say, i am a bit disapointed with it! I bought it when it was launched, believing that the cameras would be improved since the hardware was there, but no, Honor hasn't really put their money where their mouth is, we can see DXOMark but... not at the very highest level. The rest of the phone is Ok ish but battery life is getting worst on every update i got! Waiting for the new releases to exchange... and Honor won't be on the list!

After trying the Oppo Find X7 Ultra (my biggest disappointment of 2024), the Vivo 100 Pro and Ultra (Colors are so far from reality) and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra (not too bad, but I didn’t like the interface), I stuck with the Honor Magic 6 Pro. This Honor has one of the best battery life, excellent camera, stunning screen and 3D scan for unlocking. Surely one of the top 3 smartphones for 2024 👍

Honor Magic6 Pro. Ahh, the new old phone. It behaves like an old phone. Freezes. Settings suddenly revert to default: Accessibility settings for certain apps change by itself. My live wallpaper that works okay on my 3-year older Huawei (P40 Pro+) randomly stops on Honor. USB tethering to computer disconnects. Sometimes I need to restart my computer to reconnect/reenable USB MTP (media transfer protocol) properly. Its software is a f*cking ghost: Acting on its own. Uncontrollable. HORRIBLE. I'm surprised you did not experience these things, or did not notice them at during the length of your "test". Camera: Zoom and details are better on my much older Huawei. Honor's camera only wins vs. my Huawei on dynamic range.

I have the 6 pro since 1 month. Coming from a Vivo x100 pro, because I wanted better screen, better speakers. And I got this. This really is a premium phone. And as someone very pwm-sensitive I love it. BUT. I wasn't prepared for such a downgrade in the camera department. The 6 pro is unreliable, and even when it hits, the results are a far cry from the X100 pro. I would even say, my Oneplus12 camera was better. The s24 ultra too, while it has its problems too. As the camera is really something I value, I will sell it as soon as the vivo x200 pro (or even the OP13) will be available. DXO clearly lied on this one.

The OnePlus 12 for me compares consistently worse than Magic 6 pro in camera, id say it's a tier below x100 pro but a half tier above OnePlus 12
