This is their best approach to solve apps unavailability , because it will take years for developers to move their apps to the Harmony Next operating system. They still have one problem, the ability to side load APK because that's the beauty of android also they need to work on bank apps no one wants to buy a phone that will be impossible to install their bank app on, again if harmony next introduces side loading of apps they defeat the purpose of their close system iPhone style concept

I don't think you were paying attention. HarmonyOS Next is not Android. You can t side load Android apps on it. Android apps don't run natively on NEXT and can only be used in a container. Android apps would have to be re written in Huawei,s ArkTS programming language to even run natively on NEXT

It is not a hybrid OS. The android apos you see in this video is running in a virtual machine. The apps will never act or behave like native apps. HarmonyOS Next has no android or Linux code in it.

As you can see in my ranking the Pura 70 Ultra should be the best amongst them regarding cameras. The front cam is a bit of a weakeness there for video however. But the main camera and tele are so good on it that I would choose this one. But keep in mind the Pixel 9 I did not test thoroughly. Only had it in my hands for a few hours.

idk why, but with so many Huawei users out there, it's so confusing for Huawei to not give the HOS Next update to everyone of them. Seriously, from the P20, Nova5T towards 11, Mate 20-40, and so-on... there are *A LOT* that still uses a Huawei smartphone. So, it confuses me when Huawei, a brand that's trying to expand its newly developed OS into global markets, is not utilizing their devices that millions still use, and are making it exclusive to more recent models only.

There technical reasons. Huawei does not own the source code for all devices and their SoCs or in case of older devices might run into licensing issues. But especially the Snapdragon powered ones usually come only with a binary driver for Android
