National Eisteddfod 2024 in Pontypridd

I have tickets for Weds so will pop along then. As a non-Welsh speaker I have tried to follow the ceremonies on S4C with English subtitles, of course. I really wanted to know more about the Bard/Druid ceremony but the subtitles did not include a commentary it only wrote the spoken word. In future Eisteddfod’s can I ask that S4C include a commentary with all that is happening on stage which will, I am sure, attract more people to learning the Welsh language? Thank you. Diolch ! 👍

Further to my last entry my day at the Eisteddfod today was great. Well organised, well laid out and, although I say it myself as a Pontypridd resident - can there be a better location? It was packed with visitors and we took a 10 yr old and she had a great time. My only gripe is that RCT need to update their car park payment machines from being cash only. I was in a Brecon car park last week & touched in with my card. Why are RCT so far behind?
