Thank you for Silent All These Years. I was really excited to hear her views/story on Kiedis... He's an alleged predator, & I've always respected her. I was jumping out of my skin when this video popped up! So, he comes up to her, says he likes her music... okay, here we go - damn this is exciting!!.... "And um.... and um.... I can't tell you what he said next.... But I said 'What's your name?' - because I didn't recognize him, because he was wearing an aviator cap.... I'd read an article written by him, in a magazine on the plane, a month earlier - and it said.... You can't tell him this btw, because it's embarassing!! So, he said... what he would do..... umm.... how much he loved women.... and how he would romance a woman.... And with so many men today in this business being into dinosaurs.... It was just a real.... All... all the, aahhh.... women that I was with, were just completely blushing, and.... you know... So, when I met him, & found out who it was, all I could think about was.... I feel like I'm 13 years old; I have to leave, because, umm.... I should shut my mouth!! I'm sorry. But it was an embarassing moment... Because umm... you know. It's hard not to like Anthony. He's somebody you could run away with." 🤨 Err, yeah. Thank-you for that riveting articulate insight Tori. Babbling moron.

Butt I thought Sometimes Anthony Kiedis feels like he don’t have a partner. Sometimes he feels like his only friend…

Very interesting! I read his biography now, second time after maybe 17 years. It hits so different now when I am grown up person with a lot of relationships baggage! He was falling in love constantly, at the same time fucking hundreads of girls. For sure there were some nice moments for those women, but many were left broken after that. It was the smartest thing to just pass and continue with her life

Wow. I was a big Anthony Keidis fan in the 90's but I see now that I should have been a big Tory Amos fan. My life would have been infinitely better if I had known my worth enough to confidently say and believe: "I'm not a habit I'm a lifestyle."

I like that, I'm not a habit, I am a lifestyle. Important words to remember. I think Anthony was part of the Cali kids, especially LA, kind of how people were there. Guys were always proving how smooth they were, and they were.

"You know... It's hard not to like Anthony. Anthony is just somebody that... you could run away with. He's that kind of person." Really? He's always - ALWAYS - impressed me as a button pushing, puerile, self-absorbed hack. And his band is, for the most part, a well marketed, overrated arrested development joke. But I guess that makes a certain kind of sense. I never really dug Tori's music either.

Her inclination to like him was immediately stomped on by what he decided to say to her and the women she was there with. He decided to explicitly detail how he would fuck a woman he would happen to get lucky with, thinking the description would have her or one of her entourage drop their pants for him later because of how sensual and romantic he sounded. Unfortunately for Anthony, she had some self respect AND some wisdom and took his behaviour for what it was, an indicator that he was a total man whore and she would be just the latest notch on his belt. Saying she felt like a 13 year old girl means she was flushed with embarrassment at her juvenile "crush" feeling towards his intense sexual energy, but as a mature woman she realised only a player hones this kind of inappropriate graphic sex talk to use on a woman in the first conversation. Gross.
