I wish Larry didn’t go into the crowd during the third round. Even though the that round was disregarded and Kanon said the fourth round would be the one the judges would be basing their decision on, because of all the drama that took away from the rounds, I feel like Larry put himself at a disadvantage by doing that. Thanks for using my post to clarify what happened after the second round. Really enjoyed your commentary on this and it’s good to see someone “unbiased” think Larry took the last round.

Larry spent roughly 16 seconds while dancing in the crowd while coming back on stage to finish💯 Tight Eyex spent 60 sec total (I counted) regardless of the move Larry made, the interruption was unfair between the teams tbh😂 dude had every right to be upset cause the homie tight Eyex intentionally interrupted. If u look at the moment where Larry interrupted, Tight Eyex walked away slowly after his last Krump move he did 😂 like come on did u expect them to just wait 5 sec when he clearly looked like he was threw?

If you really pay attention Larry was trying to one up Tight Eyez every time. Second round he one upped Tight Eyez's use of the speaker as a prop, third round he one upped Tight Eyez going into the crowd, and then fourth round he one upped Tight Eyez with the beatkill.

@@RD-ji8cz I agree, I think the going into the crowd move made sense to him in his head in the moment to try and get the hype after Tight Eyez did it. He was definitely gonna kill the song in the 3rd like he did in the 4th just by how he was behaving. He gestured the way he always does when he's about to go straight beatkill mode, but Tight Eyez started dancing and the twins got mad at the MC not doing anything about it.

It's sad all this drama happened. It would be so dope if Les Twins And Tight Eyez got to have a real battle without all of this bs, cuz both made the whole event this year tbh and they deserved better. The twins been getting this treatment for some time and now TE too. For me personally I give it to Larry, but Eyez KILLED this battle too. For me Les Twins and Tight Eyez were the true champions there, wish they got to have a decent battle but sadly that wasn't the case... but anyways it's not like they need to prove anything else anymore.

My opinion would've been the same BUT 👉TE👈 Decided to cheat & interrupted Larry's dance... When 👉TE👈 made that decision, Already knowing👈 that Larry's interruption was an honest mistake... That's where the judges should've not let 👉TE👈 get away with that!!! It was very simple 👉BUT👈 bc the judges were/are 👉BIAS👈 that's how TE won... Plus Larry's dance outdid TE's!!! Yo, Robert i'm a new viewer and I really dig the channel. I would like to recommend 2 battles for your Epic Battles series. The first battle is Jawz vs Koolhand Luke. Jawz is one of my favorite dancers and I believe thats he's the one of the absolute best jookers in my opinion. The second battle I would like to recommend is Scripterz vs BullzEyex. I'm relatively new to Krump, but dang. This battle is so intense and crazy. Anyways thanks for the awesome content, and when I get comfortable enough and level up enough i'm gonna send some videos of myself your way for some critiques.

I think judges(professional dancers) tend to notice more details like small beatkills or grooviness than normal non-dancer audience, so sometimes they make decisions that the audience doesn't understand. But then if the judges are affected by the audience's reaction too much, battlers might find it unfair or not a wholesome judgement like, again, Les twins complained at juste debout against diablo's round. Dance isnt enjoyed only among high-level dancers, but everyone. So in that sense, loudness meter like the one used at summer dance forever might be a good solution. It kinda gives dancing back from dancing community to people. But then again, not every great dancer is a great entertainer to audience's eyes in my opinion. There are more artistic dancers who needs judgement by trained dancers. In conclusion, I wouldn't know how to judge two completely different dancers in the same round. But fortunately, there are so many various dance events, so at this point, battlers gotta know how the judgement is made at each events, just imho.

In my opinion when i saw diablo round i only saw one good move from diablo. Les twins did mouch better for far but the problem with less twins are their attitudes sometimes and people prefer to support diablo. When i see dancer. I focus on musically and how they play with the beats.this is not about entertainment because it's not a clown's party

In my humble opinion if i ever land a judging gig i would do as such: Pick a number of qualities i want to see. Lets take the most popular for example musicality, beatkilling, groove, power moves, technique. I would put these 5 categories as columns and have the names of all the dancers written to the left one under the other. When i see them dance i would grade from 1-10 the skills i chose to judge on for every individual dancer. The ones that have the top averages get into my top 8/16/32/whatever. Remind you i have never actually passed a preselection but im pretty sure that it wasn't just my lack of skill that didn't let me pass... that might my ego talking tho idk. Now for an actual battle i would do the exact same. 5 columns 2 names the one with the highest average wins

That’s usually how it’s done, but for mixed styles it’s hard to choose the criteria. Buddha stretch has a pretty legit system that I might start adopting.

That's right, because each style is different and should use different criteria to judge. For example in hip hop the grooves, concepts and musicality are some of the most important, meanwhile krump is based in attitude and character, so how do you compare these two if each one are aiming for different things? xd But i think every style have 2 things in common: expression and technique (even though is a personal technique like les twins) so a judge should be good enough to understand both dancers and know which of them pushed himself harder and expressed better through a good technique

Feels like the Les Twins keep going out of their way to grab mics at events to make things go their way. I dont know if it's going to be a continuous thing. Anyhow, with all the drama going on with Tight Eyez in the French scene, I gotta respect him for branching out even more into the international scene. Krump is just as good and limiting as any other style. If you're only doing any single dance style you're gonna have a ceiling on how good you can be. You can't purely krump to every song. Tight Eyez and other great krumpers like Ruin and Boy Mijo can krump to anything since they can do a variety of styles similar to how all the best hip hop dancers integrate other styles into hip hop.

It was powerful the whole time, no smooth moves in there or something, no playfulness with the little sounds. He was 100% better at the last round.

All other hiphop (expect for bboys) usually only refer to musically. You need wayyyyyy more that too win a battle. Especially hung up against a krumper. You crazy if you think TE lost this battle. A lot of people that think TE lost against any non krump dance due to “musically” need to watch a lot more of his videos and study very very carefully. I’ve been watching his videos since 2006. He gets better every single year. He changes he style, constantly getting better.
