Your love stories is so beautiful and its so passionate from the beginning it makes me cry and I know it makes a lot people cry as well. It proves that real ❤❤❤ has no barriers. Thank you for sharing your beautiful stories. Let’s not degrade and pass any judgment to any people just because they don’t look like us. The law of attraction always has its way to manifest such wrong perceptions to teach those who abuse and disrespect others.

I have always admired and liked the Chinese culture eversince I was a teenager and also learned to play a bit of their musical instrument which is the erhu. I have tons of Chinese books also If I haven't got married to a Filipino, I might have married a Chinese if I met someone who likes me along the way.

My parents had an arranged marriage, they were still young when they were married off. Though my father, apparently crazy with mom's beauty, was head over heels in love, but she (as told) just didn't share the same intense feeling. Unfortunately for me, i came around immediately (Honeymoon baby).. my dad was not ready to be a father yet. And mom's focus and attention shifted to me (baby) instantly, which angered my father with jealousy. Though i am his carbon copy, he hated me from the start. So growing up.. he was always around, but was never there for me. When he passed away, it seemed that was the time that i really got to live fully. Now i never pushed on my children to have an arranged marriage, letting them go for the choices they could make on their own.

Shamcey is one of the miss philippines reps that i like very much. Im more into local beauties , not too mestisa types. Agree. We have to guard culture. Sad to say, filipino immigrants do not teach filipino language and history to their children for fear of not assimilating well. Thats a dumb supposition. Any child in a foreign country will speak like a native so we should teach our culture, specially language, to our kids. Do not lose your own culture, whatever race you belong to.

I recall they ( the couple) guested at Bawal Judgemental one of Eat Bulaga game show and 1 of the show co host( another beauty titliest) who is a close friend of Shamcey. She has revealed that Shamcey was struggling a lot to be accepted by her husbands family. When this was mentoned in Tv you would see the reaction from Shamceys face from normal to sad. Then hubby came to the rescue for his family etc... After all her acheivements and accolades these are not enough.

The great wall was established for protection. Hindi man maganda sa pandinig, we Chinese people continue to receive ridicules from the Filipino community even up to these days. Inggit ang tanging dahilan for such racist behavior. Filipinos find it hard to accept that most Chinese lives a better life than the ordinary Filipinos. While both culture put great value on the family, Chinese people focuses more on the family succession. Kailangan tuloy tuloy ang decendants and also the family business. Continuous ang business and wealth expansion as the family continues to expand. Filipinos, on the other hand, put value on improving the genes, thus we see them enter mix marriages more often. This may be the result of hundreds of years of colonialization. Thus, the chasing AFAM culture. Bowing to white people seems to be a normal practice. Financial and economic challenges also plays a factor. The overseas diaspora creates opportunities for multicultural relationships. Fascination to western culture may also have its contributions. Thus, diminishing traditional Filipino culture and values.

Not really Ingit but some Chinoys that I encountered were also racists kung makapanglait sa physical features ng Native Filipino akala mo God’s gift to mankind when natural Filipino features are a hit abroad… Chinoys also tend to stick to their own and look down on Native pinoys. They also speak Chinese in class when other non chinese speakers are around which is rude..so respect goes both ways … Chinoys are lucky because Most Pinoys are not violent because if so eh di minassacre na sila like what happened in Indonesia or they were already mass deported like what happened in New Zealand, Canada, Australia and the US. Just saying
@onesoul1s

I disagree. Nagsimula lang yang great wall na yan nung yumaman ang mga Chinese. Up until the 1980s common lang ang intermarriage between Chinese and Pinoy kaya nga sa estimate nasa 20% ng mga Pilipino ang may "some Chinese ancestry" but majority of them don't even know about it. It is a fact of life that when people get rich they tend to look down on others. Great wall is nothing but keeping the riches within the family

Hindi nyo yata naiintindihan ang FILIPINO CULTURE. Walang naiinggit na Filipino sa Chinese (There is no jealousy between Filipino on Chinese people). Where did you get this notion that Filipino is jealous of the Chinese? yes you are rich, and you have material things but we Filipino we have happiness, love, family, and GOD with us. In our culture and religious belief Jesus teaches us to be humble and to live a simple but contented life. We value simplicity in life, we don't like stress or complications, we value our family and we have God with us. We don't always look for material things in life as long as we eat, have work, and we live a decent life that's enough. Meanwhile, the Chinese focused on getting more money and wealth. This is what's ingrained in our DNA. Yes, we don't have much but we have love and God. In the end, we knew all this wealth means nothing once death is calling you.

You are speaking from your own perspective, which is partly flawed. To me, it’s the other way around. It’s the chinese who more often than not ridicule filipinos. Chinese in general are clannish. The ‘kai siaw’ thing may could be about ‘guarding’ but in essence it’s also meant to keep their riches to their own that is why to date some chinese still do not allow their children to marry filipinos; and what is there to guard against pinoys anyway to begin with? Also chinese in fukien is ‘lan lang,’ which means ‘lan e lang’ or ‘our people’ connotating a ‘keep things to ourselves mentality. I myself have dominant chinese blood & I never encountered a filipino who is ‘inggit’ to a chinese. This is the first I’ve heard of this, and about the filipinos ridiculing the chinese, maybe so occasionally but in my experience it is more of the other way around. In college, my filipino friends were not even aware that they cannot court a chinese girl. In fact, a filipino friend who asked a chinese girl then if he could court her got a blunt ‘no because pilipino ka.’ Is that not the beacon-act of ridiculing? Your views and statements are subjective ane bias, probably because most if not all you surround yourself with are chinese. But in my case, my wife is pinay and my closest of friends are pinoy and I cannot find not one of your sentiments in them. Lastly, to me there are good and evil chinese same as with pinoys and there may be yellow & brown skins but ultimately everyone bleeds and everyones blood is red. Hence, there is only one race and that is the human race so it’s best to have mutual respect and coexist.
