Bummer... Malaysia, as seen from quite a few KZbinrs, is being treated as a stopover. Some came over because they encountered visa issues elsewhere and M'sia became their refuge. 😆 And M'sia gives them 90 days of stay! There were those who stopped by and ended up staying longer because we exceeded their initial expectations. For that, I say terima kasih! BTW... If you guys are so looking forward to some sun, sand and sea ... M'sia has Langkawi, Redang, Perhentian in the west, and a bunch of island paradise in Sabah... which is right next to the Philippines. 🤷

I've been to Vietnam a few times, each time about one month stay. I loved the northern area near Cat-Cat and Sapa. My favorite place was Hoi An in the Garden Village. I found some awesome clay pots to cook food in and brought back 4 clay pots home. They make the hardest, most durable clay products. If you had a tour of the prison in which John McCain became a POW, you would have discovered that they used clay bricks to make the prison within which POWs were unable to dig out because the clay was so strong. That sold me on purchasing a few to bring home. I know you guys are touring the world and cannot buy such things to take with you, but it worked out for me because I brought them back to Bali before traveling back to Alaska. I work about 7-8 months out of the year and travel the rest of the time.
