Any university type course involves proper study and investigation of ideas. Has anyone heard of the Watchtower having a bank? My father (up in age, has some dementia going on) swears that he has money in the JW bank. He doesn't want to stay in the his nursing home and has been trying to convince me to get his money so he can live on his own. I asked his overseer if he would look into it and 3 days later he said my dad did not have an account with the organization. Leading me to think that there may be a JW bank. Has anyone heard of one?

Seeing hypocrisy in your leaders was a big wake up call for MANY exJW's. It upsets me everyday, growing up always scared about armagheddon coming, often wondering when & would it happen before the weekend or after, believing i'd probably die because i felt so embarrased about door knocking & hated sitting at continious endless meetings. Then leaving home as soon as i could for freedom but making poor life decisions, unable to comprehend long term future. So many of us could have achieved so much more in life if we'd have believed in ourselves more & were encouraged to have normal hopes & dreams & to reach for the stars. Its taken a long time & a lot of research to get the demons out of my head & to start believing in myself. My parents did it all with the very best intentions, to save our lives & its so lucky we stayed close as a family unlike so many others. There's still 3 Kingdom Halls in my city. That's how many there were before I was DF'd. There were 2 congregations at one, 4 at the other, and 6 at the one I went to. The first one now has only 1, the second has 2, and the one I went to has 4. BUT, the neighbouring city sold at least two halls and put 2 congregations into the one that had 6 before. My old congregation doesn't exist anymore.

Just to confirm on this KH building scam they run: publishers need a KH; they donate large sums of personal money and/or sign on for a loan (sometimes from Watchtower at exorbitant interest rate) and build KH and make payment. Watchtower then decides to sell the KH and pockets all the money/profit, leaving publishers with lost $$ and having to drive to another KH? Correct?? Would love for someone to bullet point this process. I've been aware of it, but this information has to be exposed at a greater level.

(KH's) Their reasoning doesn't make sense xD Them: 'We wanted to build new ones. We are not going to build extra, but all of the sudden close down KH's instead. In the audio on the ExJWAnalyzer video the closing KH was only 10 years old! There is no reason to talk about not needing to build a new KH if the KH is only 10 years old. thanks for the video, interesting perspective. Thank you for all the time and effort put into making it. Lots of great points. Great job. It looks to me like the org. is directly investing in military defense among other things. If the companies names and investment information was not directly stated, I can see an argument for an indirect relationship. Also the fund is named "Watch tower", my perspective is, it belongs to the org. not Comerica. But hey, Im not an expert either ;) ****Regardless they can refuse to accept the money***** I think the reason this subject is important to some (including myself) is this may hit a nerve of those who remember specific examples where brothers changed jobs based on moral dilemma caused by their employer fulfilling military contracts. Leaving a job/career is always a difficult task. Possibly this could be the straw that wakes someone up, especially if they themselves made the change. This is analogous to being a member of United Nations NGO, while at the same time calling the UN the whore of Babylon. i.e. Do as I say, not as I do.

Question. Anyway to find out with accuracy what WT is spending this KHT process on? If it’s in a negative light than it should be easy to find. If it’s for the new planned media centre in NY USA and the like I guess their doing it to promote the faith. Thank you for the info. Has me thinking. IMO Watchtower does whatever it wants as long as they are getting away with it. Like a criminal or an abusive spouse. They know that according to what they expect out of the members they are in the wrong for investing in such things. And I will NEVER give them the benefit of the doubt. Not after the ARC. Not after watching Geoffrey Jackson admit to what he had no choice in admitting to and him lying or getting around the truth. Not after my experience of going to the elders for HELP as a mother of a toddler and 7 mo pregnant and getting disfelliwshipped for knowing too much of my husbands and his fathers dealings that his father went to PRISON for but did NOT get disfelliwshipped! There are all kinds of things that Watchtower is involved in and trying to hide. So I do NOT ever give them the benefit of the doubt.

I’ve seen several reports where JWs save up for an assembly hall (or a Kingdom Hall). Sometimes the Watchtower directive in an area is to contribute toward it. Then Watchtower takes the money donated and cancels the project. The local JWs don’t get the building promised. I’m not sure how this can be legal. Someone whose’s expertise is financial/legal needs to look into this.

Fair and balanced. Unfortunately WT are not themselves fair and balanced and it's that double standard which provokes such ire among exjws. If we must go high where they go low it is still important to acknowledge that this is what is being done. Thank you for the hard work you and others put into pulling these videos together.

There’s one JW convention clip you showed in one of your rebuttal videos to illustrate the selling off of Kingdom Halls. The one where the girls were talking after an elder announced KH merger. It to split up one of their families. There was an old sister they asked whose family was also being split up and the girls asked her which congregation she was to...you know the clip. If you want to really get into watchtower’s dealings you need a forensic accountant to go over everything with a fine tooth comb.
