I’ve had some.. interesting experiences with men, and as a result I generally feel tense around the ones I don’t know. I know I don’t know you personally Lloyd, but I just want to say thank you because your asmr makes me feel at ease and comfortable, and as a result you make me feel at ease and comfortable. It’s helped me a lot when it comes to strangers (mainly guys), and I’m a little less paranoid in public now 🙂

Hey, been a while since I’ve listened to ASMR but listened to this as soon as I saw it! This is so cool, my grandfather drove a flail tank up the beaches on D-Day, so I’m always interested in learning more about WWII and any gear they may have used during the war. You said you collect militaria ?? Maybe you could do a long ASMR video showing us all you’ve collected so far! That would be awesome. Hope you’re well!

I do not know if Rexall is in America much these days, but they are a common drug store outlet in my country (Canada) and a usual stop for anything pharmaceutical. Its interesting to see many of these companies still kicking around. Edit: Sewing kits, and a lil mini scalpel. No original suture kit and scalpel by the seems. Suppose this is more of a general kit that's had things swapped and placed in it over the years. I did some sleuthing as well, the chap stick and a number of other items date from the 1950's judging by their designs. Earlier chap stick for instance came in round tins that you'd reach into and smatter it on your hands and then lips. Where as the tube design started to become more prominent during WW2. Mobility and compactness became a fixation of this period because people were roaming around a lot more, and in the case of soldiers- they'd be constantly shifted on their deployments. If I had to place a guess, this medical kit being from the 1930's originally meant that it likely saw parts replaced all the way throughout the 40's and 50's, and probably by the early 60's or late 50's the thing was "retired" and then became a collectors item. That's just my theory on it at least. Its very possible whoever owned it previously had used it as just a conventional kit after service. Probably had it as their trip box. Back then people could even keep their service rifles, so someone keeping a kit like this isn't unfathomable.

Only gotten into the intro but I have to say how much I love how slow and careful everything is. Speech, hand movements. Something about it feels similar to "Unintentional ASMR". Can't place my finger on why that is, but it's soooooo tingly

Amazing what these kits, medical boxes, etc. have, don't they? Some of the survival kits (like Vietnam-era ones), have meth in them (to keep soldiers and pilots awake). That is, if you can find an intact, almost-mint condition kit.
