Dude I always thought living legends was a dope af name but after all the years and seeing all this and remembering all the material it’s like the name holds so much more weight now that it’s actually true y’all indeed are real life living legends. Salute the entire crew , all the other MC’s the contributed to the culture ie fellowship, hiero, the entire rhymesayers camp, dyno spec, doom, etc etc and the underground hip hop scene forever. I have so much love and respect for the Living Legends. When I was in middle school my life wasn't the greatest, I didn't have much to live for or look forward too. My father became someone that caused me more harm than love, my mom wasn't part of my life and all I had was whatever videogames I had and a walkman cd player. One of the only CDs I had was a burned CD with Living Legends music on it(I think it was Almost Famous album). It was the first time I ever heard their music and was instantly hooked. I would always ask for more of their music but I didn't know they was an underground rap group and i wasn't just gonna walk into any store and buy their music. Despite only having that one CD it kept me out of trouble and put me in a place of comfort because it was something that was mine and no one could take it away from me. Now that i'm older I see that Living Legends were more than just some underground rap group who only had that one CD. They were and are actual legends and I learning so much about the group today and listening to so many great songs that I missed out on growing up. Now the group is back together and I couldn't be any more excited.
