I never thought you would become such an inspiration to me. I remember seeing you on viva la bam. Back then I was still pretty young and never tried anything and never thought in a million years I would ever even try a drug in my lifetime. Unfortunately, I was so wrong. Now at almost 32 yrs old I am lost and wondering what happened to the past 10 years of my life. At one time I had everything, and it feels like all I did was blink one time, and now everything has changed, and I've lost so much including myself. It's hard but I am fighting and hoping to have a chance at a normal life again somehow, someday. You have been a huge inspiration to me though. I'm so happy for you and your sobriety. Your story is insane but what you have been able to get through and the things you now do to help others, is so amazing and beautiful. Thanks for sharing your story with everyone. I could never get sick of hearing it. I need to get your 2nd book! I read the first one but have a feeling the second one is better. Keep up doing what you're doing and staying strong.

@@andrewmichaels6298how are you? It’s hard to communicate off line but I can help you get in somewhere… and Medicaid in Ohio will pay at least 90 days and then over a year at sober living/recovery centers

Your video "Tomorrow is going to be better" helped me through a lot of tough nights when I got home from detox. I wanted to give up so badly, but your story gave me the hope I needed to push though. 5 years later and I'm still clean, and enjoying another one of your inspiring videos. Thanx Brandon

Thank you so much for posting an update!! My all time favorite addiction video is Tommorow is Going to be Better that was posted on this channel 5 years ago. I can’t count the number of times Brandon’s words have saved me from a relapse. Thank you ❤️

Thank you for sharing and breaking it down for us!!! My son is 22 and is in his first month of rehab for Fentanyl. I PRAY he gets it. We lost his step brother 4 years ago to Fentanyl. Congratulations and I know your mom and family are so proud and you should be as well!!!

We need more videos like this, where addicts who achieved sobriety tell their story because it offers encouragement for others struggling. The only thing you can find in this category anymore is just advertisements, reality tv shows and just general toxic negativity. You used to be able to find all sorts of videos like this, but not much anymore. Videos like this are real, and it can be that small spark that get someone to start fighting and trying.

Anyone who says recovery is great is just on a pink cloud. Recovery sucks, but addiction is worse. But the gratitude in your sobriety never ends. It's truly a day at a time.

I remember seeing Brandon in Media, PA at the probation office. Hes not lying about the scarves, dude was wearing a bunch of them like the white Prince. There were always stories about him at George W Hill Jail as well. So glad to see/hear him in this light, looking good amd speaking truth. Hes an inspiration cause this dude is the real deal I can confirm. God Bless you Novak!

I relate to it, every bit. But the part "it's just business"... it's become recovery slang that detracts from the previous part of the statement "it's not personal!" And I too am terrible at suicide. ❤️‍🔥 Thank You God 🙏

Dance with the devil you gonna get burned. You're lucky of that's all you get, if you come off the floor with your breath intact - consider that miracle and thank Christ however you understand Him. Find forgiveness. For yourself and those who committed unforgivable sins agains you.

Hate to tell you but unless the god of your understanding is the God and his only son Jesus Christ then you will continue to struggle with sobriety. You turn with all the effort, energy and love you've put into being an addict towards Jesus Christ and you will be saved from the darkness and you will be born again.

I don't want to throw any shade on him because I don't think he's said this exactly, but I do believe he frequented certain opiates, scarves are a good tie off to get your veins popping.
