I have like 17 copic markers that cost my parents like $70 bucks, and then found a pack of 30 touch five markers on sale for $15 on wish.They both work really well, so yes, if you cannot afford copics and alcohol markers are a school requirement (for me it was) then just get a ton of touchfives, they are great.

I bought Touch New (Just slightly bigger than Touch Fives) markers when I was in 2nd year college, but I still use most of them in my 5th year. These were really of big help in improving time efficiency and work quality. And one tip about the gray marker (credits to my visual techniques instructor), it can be a substitute for gray watercolor when putting shadows on your watercolor works. Time saver and has great results!!

@TidOwObiT6 жыл бұрын
DM Jaurello yeah mine as well, though I’ve had a .05 that lasted me for almost 2 years! The trick I guess is to just let it glide perpendicularly over the paper, applying just the right amount of pressure as to not let it skip lines. This is also a solid trick when inking over trace! If any mistakes arise, just grab an eraser and it should come right off easily. Use an erasing shield for accuracy, and a dab of alcohol on the eraser also helps. A tip for the uninitiated, hard erasers don’t work the way most of you think it does (erasing ink), stick to the rubber erasers especially on white paper.

Interesting how different schools have different experiences. I graduated from masters 3 years ago and had every triangle and french curve and never once took them out of the package. Never even heard of water pens and didn't do anything with water colors. Alcohol markers are good and some tricks to use to create similar effects. As for triangle scale still use one and I would recommend getting an aluminum one 17in long for 11x17 paper, never heard of the fan rulers. One tip is create an everyday carry kit about the size of medium mole skin that includes stuff you typically use and get used to it as you will carry it into the future practice.

I'm also an incoming architect student here and I'm sooo nervous srsly I can't sleep, I kept on reviewing some lessons of my subjects and then I'm starting to draw already since I haven't drew like for 6 years. And this vid may just help me improve. Oh ghezz thank God I found your channel. I really don't know what to do. I'm confused and nervous. I am also pressured since I have to maintain my grade because of my scholarship 🤷♀️

I'm just a 15 year old student dreaming to be an architect soon.. I always doubt if ever I can do it or not. But after watching this video, my mind suddenly says, "It's not about you can do it or not, it's about you enjoy it or not." In this video, I feel like Architecture is a pain, but I think it would be fun. Thank you, kuya! (・∪・)

For alcohol markers, I also recommend the ohuhu markers, they also sell on lazada and amazon depending where u live, they hv a brush and chisel and fine tip and chisel. I prefer the brush cuz who doesn’t like brush markers

If you want to try out water based markers, try out Crayola Supertips, it's pretty easy to use + you can use it like watercolors by writing on something like a plastic folder and then use a brush or a water brush hahaha

Hello a fan is waving here 😊 I really love watching your contents since I'll be soon starting my journey in architecture and when I am searching for archi thingy, I found ur channel and I swear it helped me a lot.. I really don't have any background knowledge about archi but I enrolled with it. I was in panic since we will be starting our online class this August 17 and I don't know what are the tools and materials needed for a freshman architecture or what to prepare etc. Hope you can answer this, what to expect in the first year of architecture and what to prepare? And knowing that you graduated from SLU, Baguio City which is where am recently enrolled, am so inspired, 😁😊
