Ah, this is what he meant. There was no way to separate the two and destroy that thing. What Jade must have done was made his body the perfect trap. Anything strong enough to level a killing blow would have to end Jade as well. Suppose it makes sense. It is a thing that can live without a body. Only by killing a body it is possessing can it die. So Jade must have rewired his power and body so it would not let its unwanted guest leave once it assumed full control.

This Chapter showed a very badass and satisfying Fighting Scene. That Demon who toyed with Others got to feel during His last moments what it is to feel despair and the feeling of imminent death grasping at Him He tried to trick Lloyd and The Others, only to have His cries fall silent after He got crushed into dust and vanish into nothingness from existence. Even Demons like Him can't escape Karma.

Spoilers Jade was killed at the end of this fight (we can see his ghost thanking Lloyd in 43:10), and Guisarme barely survived in his eyeball, which was all that remained of his body. He was unable to regenerate the body, but the final boss of season 3 helped him grow back the rest of it. Poor Jade, all those efforts just to have the demon completely take over his body in the very end. (Guisarme is alone at last)

I don't think so. Lloyd was using Ki (he learned it to the martial artist girl) and he was just moving super fast to the point that the enemy can't react to it.
