Now they just need to make a scaled down version of the General Electric E400 turbo fan with after burners;install it in a 1:4 scale F16;and get it to fly beyond the sound barrier at 1400 mph.I would like to see an r/c jet produce a sonic boom.

tbobborap1 yes, I've seen it also, actually...so this particular RC model got Bentley engine...but the authentic real Avro504K uses LeRhone engine...I understand now

A great day out But 2 items spoiled it first that command tent in the wrong place 2nd was people constantly walking back & forth in front of the flying ,This happens every year & it spoils a good day. So if anyone of the organisers reads this please move that command tent-its a pain where its situated . DO SOMTHING ABOUT IT.

Some of these models are so big they probably need planning permission to unload them.

oh yes doug, any model over 22kg must be examined during its building by an experienced CAA inspector through various stages and the pilot must perform an hours flying on the finished model to prove he can control it, ignoring these laws could end you up in prison so yes it is regulated very well doug,
