The VAs have been itching to do the final arc, too. Kappei Yamaguchi (voice of boy-Ranma) said in an interview that he wouldn't want a new Ranma 1/2 to exist if he didn't get to be in it.

Fun fact: Rumiko wasn’t sure whether the protagonist of her new series should be a boy or a girl, so she was like,why not both. She came up with the idea that hot water turns Ranma into boy and cold water turns Ranma into a girl

LET'S GO Ranma 1/2, is a must-see classic. This shit was my childhood, I remember that in France, there was a TV channel called Manga. It’s thanks to this that I got to know the great animated classics of my sister's generation, Yū Yū Hakusho, Dragon Ball, Hunter x Hunter and of course Ranma1/2. The original anime and manga had more ecchi moments in every episode, and we could see a nipple.

I didn’t watch anime until the age of 20. Ranma 1/2 is my first anime I watched during the pandemic 😷. I watched three versions English, Spanish, and Japanese. After 80s anime left in a cliffhanger, I read the manga to see how this series ended. I would love to see how they are going to animate my favorite parts that were never animated. Ranma is a " he" in both his forms, so it's ok if you say "he" when he's in female form, he's always screaming " I'm a man/boy"😅. You better get used to people hitting each other, cause it's slapstick romantic comedy crazy weird shit 😅😅😅. It's gonna become even crazier and more fun when more characters show up! Ranma 1/2 is probably the funniest manga I've ever read but it also has a cute story. I'm really hoping they will adapt the whole manga, cause there are so many amazing or hilarious arcs in the manga that didn't make it in the original anime! Can't wait to discover your journey to the Ranmaverse, i think you're gonna love it!😊

Love how some of the voice actors came back after 30ish years. Love Kappei and Noriko voicing the engaged couple again 😊 I’m sad that Eng dub actors didn’t return their roles, but I like the new voice actors.I learned that Female Ranma is voiced by the same actor for Yuffie(FF7)They changed Jusenkyo Guide’s voice because in the 80s anime he had a stereotype Chinese accent. I’m also sad that Carlos and Irma didn’t voice male and female Ranma,and Nabiki voice actors too. Akane, kasumi, Soun tendo voice actors did come back for their old roles. Don’t get me wrong , I love both new ranma’s voice actors.
