Olá Luís! Just two quick questions: is it safe to charge the battery with an external charger while it's still connected to the car? Can you give any advices to save the battery when the car is not started for a long time? With the quarantine I've not started my car for more than 3 weeks and I'm afraid the battery will eventually die.
@LMAutoRepairs4 жыл бұрын
Hi Yes, not problem to charge the battery while connected... To maintain the battery, there is specific battery maintainer for that... just Google it... Can you just not start the car and leave it idling for 10 or 20 minutes? That should keep it going... Stay safe and thank you for watching!

Great and interesting video as always :) Just one thing makes me wonder - how do you usually charge for jobs like this one?? Do you charge costumers hours rate? You know what I mean, sometimes something is so quick to fix, 10 minutes and job done but obviously you can't charge them for example £5 which is unprofitable - what do you do with that??
@LMAutoRepairs4 жыл бұрын
I do this as a part time... so, whatever I get paid is always profit... Plus, some of the people tha ask me for help, are friends or friends of friends.. you know what I mean...😊 But I agree, if this was my livelihood, I would have to charge hourly, regardless of if the issues was a 10 minutes fix that took 10 hours to find, or if was 10 hours fix that took 10 minutes to find... 😊 Thank you for watching and for your comment!
@januszderen12534 жыл бұрын
Yes, I know how it is with friends, friends are everywhere and most of the customers comes to you wants to be your friend ;) Obviously we can't charge friends hourly but we can't work for free neither. Thank you for your answer and for your videos, you have a lot non typical cases so them make videos more interesting then other yt channels. Thanks again and stay safe
