This car came to me with the passenger door not locking or unlocking from either the remote, or from the interior locking button.
After dig the issue down, I have found the fault.

Jak otwierasz obudowę siłownika? Tego nie pokazałeś, w F10 zamek jest nierozbieralny. Ja próbowałem i nie da rady rozebrać, kupiłem drugi, rozebrać można w E90.

Hi,Happy new year!I have ben replace parking brake unit,to used one,it is works fine manual,but automate is not .I did all steps as you did on the video,with can clip v.174,steel not work automate the parking brake,and the fault,is:DF052 multiplexed network,DF039 no UHC multiplex signal,what do you think?Vel satis 2004 2,2dci six speeds, manual,.I can not replace the chassis number on the parking brake ECU.clip need 7 character serial number,on the clip sticker has only 5 numbers.

Zsolt Csaplar Happy New year! You will not be able to change the VIN number with clip... the only option for that is remove eeprom, if fitted, and change it manually... or virginize it and then reprogram everything with clip. As for the multiplex faults, it seems obviously that there is no comunications coming from the uch, reason why the parking brake does not work automatically... Either, ensure that the parking brake is the correct one, or check wiring... make sure all the connections are good, etc... Was that working fine with the old unit?

Hi I've got a ford Mondeo and I'm trying to trouble shoot the front headed windscreen I've checked all the fueses and the heater relay all ok but I've noticed a small crack in the glass right across one of the thin wires could this be my problem and can it be fixed arsome vids keep up the good work

Hey I have a bmw f30 and the door lock actuator looks similar, in my case the pin that moves up and down works, but even when the pin is down that indicates it’s locked I can still open the door from the outside, any idea? Do I need to get a new door lock actuator? I’m not exactly sure how the locking mechanism works so cant diagnose what the exact problem is

For a straightforward repair, get a second hand lock or new if you prefer, and replace it... It can probably be repaired, but they can be a complicated and difficult to work on... But you can always remove it, and closely inspect it... 👍👍👍

Hello, Do you know if this fix is only for cars with soft close. Mine doesn't have soft close but has the same problem. Do cars without soft close have both actuators or only the one with the latch ?

@@Marco-jy9ju You can scan the car, check live data, try to actuate the lock with the scan tool, see if does the same... But what you described, might be the lock...

What can I do when my 2013 BMW 740 LI remote { or the lock/unlock button inside the vehicle } will only lock, unlock the trunk and the rear doors but not the front doors. I have to lock the passenger door manually and the driver door has to be locked and opened with the actual metal part of the key from the remote??? The batteries are good cause it does all the other functions. Both front doors stopped working at the same time [2 days ago]. Please assist.

They are 12 volts... Everything else I don't know now... Look for one that is compatible with what you are looking for... if is advertised to fit your car, then should work...

Seriously it’s so inconsiderate for you to make a video about this and skip such a crucial step. Every other DIY for lock actuators shows the version held together by screws. There are no DIYs on how to open this kind of actuator. You skipped over that entire section. I CANNOT GET THIS THING APART 😭😭😭 HELP ME PLEASE

The door lock comes attached to the soft close motor mechanism... The door lock itself doesn't have screws... The unit is reverted together and once opened then that's it... The unit you hold with the with replaced motor seems way smaller than the actual door lock... My eyes could have deceived me but... I did check your video before stripping my car door and then called the dealership as well as some used spare agents who than confirmed some of the points I raised after noticing the discrepancies... But jaah.... Maybe it's model difference matter and my apologies if it is. Keep well sir
