Agreed. The aftermarket sheet metal parts dont fit well at all. I highly recommend finding use OEM

I never had any problems dealing with LMC. When I had to call in and get some clarity on an item before I ordered,, people on the phone where very knowledgeable and even said it it's not right before installing send it back and we'll try another ...can't beat that for custy services

At 5:09 that's not a sidemarker light gasket. That's a parklight gasket for 1973-80 models my friend. P/N 38-5428 paint reseal kit is for 1973-80 models, not 1981-87 models. Hope this was helpful.

Lack of Feedback/reviews on LMC website is my biggest gripe, I use them quite a bit on my truck project, it would be nice to see what other customers have to say about the products being sold, as there has been some quality concerns on items I have purchased. I still love LMC.

As much as I like LMC. My personal opinion is 40% of the thousands I spent with them is overpriced made in china junk. Cigarette lighters that are too big for the hole, door jamb switches that are too skinny and sloppy for the factory hole. Injection molded parts where the injection didn’t finish making the part. The lady on the phone arguing I’m wrong and if I want to return the $6 part I have to pay for shipping. Interior plastic parts using zip nuts, the ones they send are way smaller than the originals. Stainless screws that the heads are too small and the threads are too skinny and yet they rust and they are stainless steel. If I’m doing a sorta restore job I don’t expect these crappy fasteners, I expect the original size products. That’s what I’m paying for, right? I get charged full blown retail for quality items and I receive inferior chinesium products with the well that’s just how it is attitude. Just sad these retailers are sacrificing our need for quality over their desire for profits.

I have a 73 c10 and had to contact them about the shoulder belt bolt as well. They acted like they had never seen this before but all bolts they supplied were way too small. I ended up making my own spacer and getting the correct size bolt.

I have had nothing but dramas with all the LMC parts i bought and imported to Australia 1. window regulator wouldn't wind all the way down. Window sat up about 2 inches 2. Side mirrors are corroding and looking 50 years old already 3. Rubber boot for the fuel filler cracking and perishing after 6 months parked in garage. 4. Fuel hose for fuel filler neck was 1/2 inch too small in diameter. 5. Gasket on fuel cap perished after 6 months use. (Mostly parked up) 6. Window crank handles keep falling off 7. Thats to name a few of the items. I could go on, also haven't installed lots of other parts. Also I had lots of items not turn up at all. Took months to rectify. If you want inferior parts by all means shop there

Don't remember. They're available lots of places online. Ebay is the cheapest.
