Love the content, I think you put on the shackles backwards they should face the opposite direction so the leafs as they sway won’t hit the shackle and bind if you flip them they have more room to flex

Hey man I have a question, when you install the shackles would it affect how low it drops if you install both of them facing the back side of the bed instead of the curved side facing the front the the truck. Not sure if that makes any sense but that’s as best I can explain it basically asking if there’s a wrong way to install them other then putting them upside down which I know which goes bottom and top

Yes it makes a difference he installed them backwards in the video the open side of the shackle should face inside towards the spring to allow for the springs to flex properly but does not effect height just ride quality and hauling a heavy load may cause springs to break at the eyes if loaded enough which would like cause atleast that side of the frame to them drop freely onto. The half detached axle

If you're really on a budget you can remove the rear block. Flip it up top as a spacer. Reuuse factory u bolts. Up to 2 inch drop for free
