Autozone has some Gold battery terminal bolts that are extened for the purpose of adding external things like lighting , just swap the bolts and you can add the additional connections to lights without disconnecting the battery works great

Big advice to those that buy these taillights from any brand these are not easy to fix if the turning light stops working I suggest you keep your old ones along with the light bulbs in case one give out since they are expensive to replace. Mine gave out after 2 years

Recon light makes it the black out theme. The Z71, Sierra, Gmc on the back needs to be removed to clean up things and to complete the rear black out theme.

You don't need to get any special terminal. Connect the red positive wire to the red box in the engine Bay that says battery on it, and then find a known good ground for the black wire.👍

You don’t need a terminal adapter there is a positive terminal box below the battery you can use and just find a ground and you’re good to go 👍🏼

My tailights for my pickup actually came with a sticky residue on the ballast that i used to put it to the inside of the bed and lemme tell ya, THAT SHIT WAS STICKY. I wish they had come the way these tailights did

You can find some that look the exact same but cheaper on Amazon I run them on my truck. Just make sure they have a load resistor or you'll have hyper flash on your blinkers

I was gonna get those for mine , but I found the Sypder brand which was about about $300 and $30 off on sale and they have a 1 year warranty and the Recon had only a 90 day warranty , I thought for the price they should have given a 1 year warranty like Spyder does but look to be some nice lights , your lights are nearly identical to what I have , I like that they make the truck look a lot newer with the style of trucks 15 years newer

@@MasonBlakeney welcome, had a burgundy 04 crew cab slt like this one…..this exact truck is 03-early 07 (the early 07’s are called classics, because the new 07’s came out in 2nd half of model year..but this body is 99-07…before the 03’ refreshes on Sierra and Silverado…get the gmc cause the refreshed 03’ Silverado front end looks like crap (all my friends hated it in late 02’ said Chevy screwed up..they call it the cat eye front end)…03’ and up has cooler interior, power folding mirrors with luminated turn signals in mirror on higher trims, a way better stock radio that shows songs names on stations,and steering wheel controls..on star, better drivers info center on cluster etc…do yourself a favor and get the “slt” trim for Sierra or “lt”trim for the Silverado… most of these options I mentioned will not be on the lower trim ones.
