Fantastic video. Thank you for answering real questions and not being a sales rep. I really appreciate it for my own truck.

Great video. Looking to add a secondary oil filter to my LML, with 236k miles. (Newly Purchased. My first diesel)

Man you need to make it to where we can get that bracket you made. That spot is perfect

Nice simple system. I'm probably going with the e-bay one that mounts where your coolant filter is mounted, about half the price of other kits at $340 shipped. I'm sure the components are lower quality, but it does have stainless braided line and everything is solid aluminum so I doubt there will be problems. I wonder about oil analysis costs though. I heard if you get an Amsoil kit from their site($580+) they do oil analysis for like $15, but it would take a long time to make up for the difference in initial costs.

Dont take oil analysis samples from draining the oil pan because you get some of the contaminants from the sludge at the bottom of the pan. Always get it from suspended oil in the pan.

Even though I have the Ford 6.7 PowerStroke I watched your install on the Duramax. Glad I did . I really like how you take the oil sample . I never though of that ! Any ideas where to mount the bypass filter on a 2012 6.7 Ford ? Thanks for your time .

I had a rock hit mine twice. And it is mounted inside the frame. Needs a shield down there

Can the CAT filter conversion work on this to replace the regular filter and keep the bypass filter? Or even make them both CATs

Do you think if we mount the remote filter as low as possible and avoid 90-degree fittings would flow better volume with less pressure loss? Or, does height matter as we are dumping the bypass into the valve cover? I enjoyed your video and decided to comment as I noticed there were not any comments with 9 and 1/2 subscribers (good job) this motivates me to check out more of your videos! as I write this bypass you have 296 views on this one. My engine sits low enough that the only 90 I will have is to let the oil out of a spray bar under my valve cove( 69 Toyotafj40). Have a good one.
