"Stubby" locos on the Great Eastern were a necessity, as the turntables were not long enough to take pacifics or even 10-wheelers with large tenders. Even 4-4-0s couldn't be partnered with "full size" tenders. Nice video

Nice steamy, but the original B17 is more my style. The B17 was never designed to look like an A4.
