Load Calculation for Electrical Permit in Edmonton

Submmition of "Electrical Inspection Load Calculation" is required for most of the electrical permits in City of Edmonton.
Make sure the load calculation is performed correctly is the key for the successful approval.

It depends on if the basement is a separate dwelling unit or not. It will be different for how to calculate the range. For the AC. Simply add 100% of its kWh

How do you do secondary suite calculations

The secondary suite is different from just basement renovation. Most of the cases, it requires more amperage. As the second suite is calculated 65% of the load towards the service size
