Load Sensing Proportioning Valve Adjustment on a Mitsubishi Montero (Rear Brake Smell)

After installing an Old Man Emu by ARB Lift Kit on my 1995 Mitsubishi Montero (Pajero), I noticed a weird smell from my rear brakes.
The load sensing proportioning valve was directing too much brake fluid pressure to the rear brakes.

I need to adjust my proportional valve to suit my lift which will need a need a bracket, if you could, could you measure the distance of the spring ends? So i can go off something. Cheers from Perth Australia

your the only person ive found that has the same system I have on my 03 chevy tracker, can I ask you a questoin concerning this valve? first off, I lost my brake pedal, I replaced the master cylinder, after bleeding the brakes, I have discovered that I only get a brake pedal when I have the front of the suv jacked up, as soon as i drop the jack, I also loose the brake pedal pressure, could the be this valve>

That’s a weird one. I assume you aren’t constantly losing brake fluid from a leak. This valve might play a role. Also you might still have some air in the lines. Check and see if you can bleed your brakes from the load sensing proportioning valve.
