I love your enthusiasm when you're on anything with 2 wheels. That's what motorcycling is all about. Great videos! Stay safe and have fun.

I have a 300l and they are great bikes. Put some money into them and they are something else. My next investment will be suspension front and back to take it to the next level. But on the street it’s perfect.

How does the Honda compare with the Himalayan ?
@forgottenmotorcycles Жыл бұрын
Two totally different types of motorcycle. I'm hoping, Mark, the owner of this bike sees this comment and replies. He owned a Himalayan at one time. From my point of view, the Honda is really a performance machine made to accomplish a mission. This particular CRF is possibly one of the best example out there. Things like comfort were sacrificed for the benefits of handling and performance. Not sure I'd want to ride the Honda all day long. I have done many day rides on the Himalayan. Love my Himalayan, for sure. Was just blown away by the CRF's agility, power, light weight and totally mad fun factor. Wahoo!
@markjacobs3956 Жыл бұрын
I can ride that CRF all day long. It's over 125lbs lighter, more power, better legs and Honda reliable. It also is getting 70mpg. I have $7000 invested in it. I had almost that in my Himmy. The CRF is better in every way IMO.

I'm not sure what all he's done...Just talked with its owner a week or so ago. Had had this bike out in the rugged sticks of Colorado. Amazing photos of incredibly rugged mountainous areas... owners has some true riding skills to go with this bike. wahoo!

It sad to see that dual sports era is coming to an end and adv's are taking over. I hope Suzuki will modernize DR650.

Ive had bikes all my life and raced for over 30 yeas , at 60 I bought a new crf 300l 8 weeks later I sold it , Because it was probably the worst bike I've ever owned cheaply made crap suspension side stand to short bike felt like it was going to fall over breaks were terrible it was very heavy probably due to the crap metal its made from and so gutless it's ridiculous, you would need to be a 12 year old school girl to find this bike exciting ,In all there a pile of crap and that's why there are always so many for sale .
