I have 4 very large Adansonii and none of them have mealies. They're so stunning when they get big, especially the you d form.

LOL. Yessss I completely support your comment on "why is it like $1000 when you put something on a piece of wood" hahaha. There was a store I just bought from where a plant in the pot was like $6.99 but if you wanted to buy it already mounted it was $45.99. Like... what? I've watched enough videos I think I can DIY it for less than $40! ---- Also, for Frizzle Sizzle I heard that if you cut the flower bloom, it won't go straight and 2) if you did let it bloom, you have to let it go dormant and then bring it back for it to become curly again (Logees video so I trust them well enough). I don't have my own yet though so can't confirm from experience.

12:10 that's a kangaroo paw! A really adorable Aussie native :) also, I think the palm you thought was a fish tail might be an immature kentia palm? Idk though.

Orchids are really expensive because they need very specific high-maintenance growth conditions. I believe they are also propagated in bulk by tissue culture, another technically complicated process. Nice to see a lot of cacti, reminds me of my trip to the Sonora desert near Tuscon. But they ALWAYS get mealy bugs!! Thanks for another great vid!

I can’t stop looking at those oncidium orchids, here the flower shop phalaenopsis hybrids, dendrobium nobile and denphals are for sale all year. All other orchids are for sale only in fall.
