HiJames . I did this job back in the 1960s in Oxford for H & M Transport. At Pony rd .And Harding Transport at horspath industry estates but I guess they are long gone now . The most i carried was 8 cars ninies MGBs Austin Healey 3000 s picking up in Abingdon. All exports. Greetings from Canada trucker AL retired. 🇨🇦👍

The reason for no height check was that it was a regular job and the decks were marked with white marker pen, the height for 11 mini’s on this evo 4 was 15”11

15' 4" to 15' 6" from memory with 11 on my old MkIV on a Renault Chassis depending on the exact mx of models and which deck they are on. If it's a regular job then a trick used to be a tipex or paint mark on a pillar and deck made after loading the initial trial load and measuring everything up, line up the marks and job's a good 'un. Five Jukes and five Quashqai's is a different ball game as two cars have to be in just the right place to get down to 16 foot, if either is a too far forward then it's strip 8 off and reset as it won't go below 16' 2".
