Trailer is way to deep. If it wasn't so deep you wouldn't have to keep screwing around reaching over the side adjusting it. You only want the trailer deep enough to easily get the boat to slide/roll up on to it.

3200 kilo boat + 400 kilo trailer is to much for the Toyota. max 2800 kilo trailer :) normal Land cruiser. V8 200 3500 kilo. But as long no police control, nobody care. Nice combination.

Honestly. You had the trailer in way to deep. Jest put the fenders under. Then drive it on. I have the exact same boat. I can't believe you tow that boat with that mid size SUV. Don't go to any steep ramps. It will pull the SUV right into the water. Almost did it to my Honda Ridgeline. So I got a RAM.

Bayliner 2655 ciera is 2.59 width however you are right that's enough to be out of 2.55 idiot rule. I got a 2755 which is 2.52 right to have the legal size to tow it in Italy
