Loading A Kubota KX080-4 Onto A Trailer

In today's video Trent JR takes our Freightliner Cascadia and 2 axle landoll trailer to Whitewater, Ca to load a Kubota KX080 and transport it back to Indio.

Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
Q: How big Is your rotator?
A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
A: Currently more than 30
Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral.

Next time you haul a machine like that dont worry about the blade, but instead hook each end of a 20ft chain through the i-lets and then put 2 ratchets on each side. Pulling front and back. Then you will have a 4 point tie down plus your strap over the boom. Less chance of the machine moving or a chain coming lose. Then you can get by with 2 chains four binders and a strap.

should be a button for auxiliary hydraulic flow, push it and the thumb will work.

Agree, on my Volvo it's a button on the right joy stick that switches hydraulic flow from thumb to boom/stick swivel.

Hi . How come you don't cross your chains on the machine . When i'v ever move plant like I cross my chains so I no it carnt slip to one side or the other. May be me but I would never load anything like that. Good video as normal thow. I'v seen you do like that be for but never left a comment. Thanks from Andy in UK

According to Landoll, the trailer should not be operated with the axles out of their seats...........lol
