tractors fitted with a hydro clutch so not the same issues as a conventional one. some valid points made though

This guy has to be one of the first KZbin farmers.
@thefunkyfarmer2 жыл бұрын
you're right. I've been doing it for ten years
@PAYNEKILLER..2 жыл бұрын
@@thefunkyfarmer Bet there aren't many farmers that have been on KZbin that long. None I've seen anyway.

I put a video on my channel with a CX105 clutches are all very jerky on them - very hard to find the biting point of the clutch on them - its either all or nothing, seems to be a bit of a design flaw
@thefunkyfarmer9 жыл бұрын
Jim McKechnie I think your right jim. The cx95 we have is the same, maybe its something to do with it being a hydro clutch rather than a conventional sort.

thefunkyfarmer I know what u mean. I had to drive a case 895xl and you could never find the biting point. It was your waiting for it or breaking the seat setting off. But great vids

@jamesgreen783111 жыл бұрын
luckily its only a mcormic but your right thats why you never buy a second hand loader tractor expecting the clutch to be good or the front axle and steering to be good because they just dont last when treated like this
@Northern_Farmer10 жыл бұрын
wow thats a jerky clutch on that tractor... reminds me of my old case with a bad clutch spring
@thefunkyfarmer10 жыл бұрын
yes its very sharp.i guess thats because its a hydro clutch, takes a bit of getting used to

do you still have two muck spreaders now?
@kroneking12711 жыл бұрын
All tractor's are different really it all depends what it's doing, as you can see the ground around the muck is very uneven so u have to give it welly to get anywhere as such and no one knows his tractor better then him
@michaelryan98829 жыл бұрын
Your breaking my heart
@epj90010 жыл бұрын
Not to labour the point, but I'm sure that clutch shouldn't be so harsh,it must be sending massive shock loads through the gearbox.I think it needs a dose of looking at!
@thefunkyfarmer10 жыл бұрын
its been like that since we bought the tractor new so i always assumed that is how they are on the McCormick however after putting some vids on here and getting some comments i'm not so convinced. I think i might get someone to take a look at it
@jacktomlinson416710 жыл бұрын
thefunkyfarmer if its an extra shift box the clutches on them are known to be shite!
@michaelryan98829 жыл бұрын
Jack Tomlinson I couldn't agree with that now
@Masseyman-nv2kl6 жыл бұрын
thefunkyfarmer with some masses especially the ones with dyna 6 in the early 2000's the clutches on them are that bad they just throw you about in the seat and nearly break you back! Cause we have a 6465 dyna 6 and I like it in the way it's a smooth tractor on the road but close quarters I would rather get another tractor!
@darrenduffy95428 жыл бұрын
Why don't you open the lid on the spreader? makes loading so much easier and that what it's designed to do
@thefunkyfarmer8 жыл бұрын

Nothing dangerous with using 2wd while spreading at all Ok if you was on slopes then yeah 4wd would be a better option but on flat 2wd is fine

1, you only have rear brakes2, if you drive on the muck your gone, 3, of you start sliding your in trouble
