Seeing you load the spreader bought back a few memories of 50yrs ago. It was my job then to load the spreader, while the farm manager was tucking into his bacon and egg. The job was always worse on a wet day because there was 3 times as much to shift, plus it was so liquid it would run off the back of the shovel. Happy days.

It seems that a 4-6 year old used spreader would serve you with a substantial cost savings. After a month you won't be able to tell if it is new or 6 years old. Besides you would be able to attend a good auction sale.
