Those old trucks are all part of your countries heritage, it is so good that some dedicated enthusiasts seek them out for restoration. Kind of hoped that the big freight truck behind you that was set up for a fifth wheel to tow trailers would be running maybe... they got parked for a reason so it might not make the cut. Not much of the stuff that you send out has much more life... anything can be fixed with enough money can't fix but the worth cuts the chase.... I am glad though that I don't have to make those calls on what is smashed. Be a lot though when you get a crusher. I seen a guy take a dozer for its weight and tie it down on a low boy trailer and then set near some cement where it was on a cable and it would drop down and smash just about anything that you put there including some that the crusher couldn't handle that rig did.... thank you for the ride along

If you’ld want you could use a heavy weight (the backside of a forklift is nice!!) to flatten cars.....either you drop it from some height or you have it sitting on the fork of your loader... I realy like how you try to salvage the old stuff!!!....it is a balance between time and availability of space....between making a bit extra and how you can cope with people wasting time.... I run a smal workshop, many times working with older cars.....old car enthusiasts have (most times...) the money to spent on their love and pride (which is GOOD!!).....and plenty of time to deliberate about their hobby....which can be a bit of a pain in the behind....I have 4 very nice but persuasive dogs watching over the premises....not everybody loves dogs, but stil want the car fixed....the time saved easily pays the dogfood..... greetings from the Netherlands!!! (Ps scrap cars now do 250 Euro per ton,on top of that there is the catalytic converters and batteries!!!)
