Hey great video! I miss Browns camp! It’s been about 16 years since I have ridden in the Tillamook forest. I miss it!

Thank you Sir, this is demonstration that I needed. I have an identical floor layout and was looking for options for my situation (2 dirt bikes). That Bolt-it-on system to the rear with bikes facing back looks like the ticket for me. Keeps up front available for quick kitchen access, restroom, etc. Thanks for posting and sharing. Ride safe.

Careful tightening the bikes so tight being compressed like that can blow forkseals

Good stuff! We are looking into a TH for our family of 5 and loading all of the bikes using the stock floor D rings had me scratching my head. Thanks for the illustration! Did you beef up the factory mount locations or just the ones you installed later?

Just beefed up the ones I added. The stock ones seemed to go through the steel crossmember from what I saw.

Thanks for sharing! How are you liking that Genesis Toy hauler? Any issues with it? I’m looking at getting one to take the kids racing Motocross and also general camping, and trail riding. I found a Genesis Vortex 1914V some distance away so I can’t handily take measurements, but I was hoping I could put a Bolt it on rack across behind the counter top across the wheel wells so I wouldn’t have to keep adding and removing the rack, just roll the bikes straight in. It looks like there aren’t D-rings there, though. What width is the rack you use, 80”? I think the one I’m looking at would be the same dimensions as yours. Thanks again for sharing!

We love the Genesis! We did have the shackle bracket on the rear suspension crack but I think I was turning it too sharp with the Trailer Valet. I beefed it up and hope it lasts. My Bolt-it-on bar is 94". My stove is too close to put the bikes in forward facing. That would make loading and unloading easier. You can always add d-rings where you need them. Hope everything works out for you.

@@godfamilybikes1703 I see what you mean. My bike is 88” long and the cargo area is 77” up to where it narrows at the stove. How does your suburban do towing it? I have a half ton truck rated to tow 9400 lbs. At 8200 Max gross it is within 1200 lbs of being at my truck’s limit. I assume your suburban is around the same.

I added my tie downs from inside. I slipped a piece of 3/4 oak under the flooring to make sure I had good strength for the tie down screws.

Bolt It On is certainly not the best tie down system for dirt bikes. It is not only way over priced, but it still requires the use of straps. You can build your own system using standard 2x2 steel square posts, purchased here: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B008J52HC2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I made our tie down system for $150, and it transports 4 dirt bikes. You can see how to build it here: photos.app.goo.gl/zTzcnSG23NwojJZT7
