Thanks Mr. Dave for an awesome relaxing video, lol sitting back in my Big desk chair, Many moons ago I use to drive Backhoe on tracks to load sand in Tractor Trailer dumps. I was about 28 years old, Big John Deer Tractor, it was a fun job for a season, but I want a big Tractor Trailer of my own. I drove 12 years for Mayflower, my first Tractor Trailer was International Cabover with 48 foot Moving Van, now that was fun, but extremely hard work.

I do remember seeing those Mayflower trucks all over the place Rev. Harry. Who knows maybe you were driving one of the them. Not many of those cabovers are still out there running daily that I know of. A good many are in collections and being shown. Glad you found this relaxing. Thats a lot like where I work. I run our papermills' wastewater plant and turn all of our waste into fibercake that gets spread on farm fields. 4 to 6 times a day our truck driver runs 25 yard loads out to the spreading fields after using our '96 John Deere 544 to load them. Thanks for taking us to work again!

Oh wow, I've been by some paper mills in the past and the smell was awful, how do you stand that all day long specially in the summer Poowg? Very interesting about that cake getting spread on fields, never knew that. Thanks so much for checking out the video and may you have a very good day my friend.
@poowg26573 ай бұрын
@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings The worst smell from a papermill comes from the ones that have pulp plants. Sulphuric acid and steam are used to break down the wood fiber. Our mill doesn't have a pulp plant anymore but the waste I process does turn septic. Funny thing is your smell receptors get overloaded in about 10 minutes and you can't smell it anymore.

Wow, that brings back memories of me in 2006 working the coal yard. We had two different front end loaders. One had the joy stick, and the other had the individual levers for the bucket. One time I had to use it to lift a Swift trailer at our truck dock when the idiot pulled out and crunched a truck parked beside him. I grabbed the ICC bar in the back of the trailer, and lifted it off the fender of the truck he hit. It was a loaded trailer and I had my back wheels floating trying to lift it! LOL

@@ThatsDavesOtherDoings "Black Rock" is a fictional town set in a movie at the end of either WW2 or the Korean conflict. A government agent is sent there to oversee the burial of a Native American that was killed in battle, but things start going terribly wrong because of several people that were "Anti-Native-American". The battle goes back & forth between the agent and the "haters", with the agent eventually prevailing, and the deceased soldier finally getting his proper burial. You might like this movie, because it features a short passenger train transporting the deceased back to his roots.
