We visited it about 3-4yrs ago. As we had my mother with us, we didn't get chance to walk the whole way round. Found it really difficult and dangerous getting on and off the boat, as i was worried about falling between the boat and the jetty.

I do enjoy your vlogs especially at present as they are probably the only sunny holiday I’ll see this year. You are a lovely couple who make each other laugh and also the viewer, and you seem to have a great married relationship. I find the vlogs really informative and I particularly enjoyed the recent one where you both explained the cost of living on the island and it also helped that you included every detail. My wife and myself have had some great holidays on the island and we are looking to retire in two to three years and are looking into various sunny options in Spain and the Canaries. It obviously worries us that after Brexit (which we did not vote for) we are now faced with a number of difficult problems to overcome including residencia and having to take a written and practical driving test. That's another place to add to the growing list. Two weeks is never enough time. Here's hoping when the time for coming back we can either extend or come back several times. Nice reminder of when I last visited Lobos about twenty years ago. Had a swim and climbed the caldera (don't think I'd do that now!). Good to see the island is still unspoilt.

It’s all open now. The cabildo have done a fantastic job. They have a small team there during the day to maintain everything. The limit on numbers is a good way to protect the wildlife too 👍

Great video ladies! You are so lucky to live in Fuerte. It's been our dream, but Brexit and Covid have put a couple of spanners in the works .... for a wee while. Hopefully we'll be able to fulfil our dream before too long. Do you recognize the island behind me in my profile pic? We visited Lobos in 2018 and got there and back in a water taxi in VERY rough seas ... but it was great fun! I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching many more videos. I think the main difference was the variety of scenery. To be able to experience the mountains and the sea, plus beaches and ravines on the same walk. Also to have a properly marked out trail made it quite different

I think the permits were introduced about 18 months ago. They want to make sure they can protect the wildlife as much as possible. You can still take bikes and surfboards over no problem 👍

We stayed in Bristol Sunset Beach back in August and did a video tour of the room. It was a good location and really good value. There’s a couple of similar hotels that end too like Surfing Colors and Dunas Club. Otherwise have a look on Airbnb for a licenced apartment.
