Holy cow. Six years since the last playthrough. Nothing will ever beat being interrupted by constantly hitting fish while in the Cyclops. Still one of my favorite moments.

Happy holidays! Lobos makes our lives better always. I used to play pokemon with the OG playthrough in the background. I have fond memories of EV min maxing to the sound of lobos hitting fibsh.

The "random drops" from ores actually pull from a set table; once you've mined as much as there's entries on the table, you're guaranteed to get every entry exactly once. Most early game ores have around 10 entries, so no matter how unlucky you are, you are always getting the same amount of materials if you just pick up stuff for a bit. Later game lists definitely get BS for some materials, though, with way too large pools.

4:48:15 - "It's not a base!" Cut to subnautica with crowd control - Lobos builds a literal one-room closet to hide from a reaper and spawns in a beacon, labeling it "BASE"

The air bladder is underrated. A must have until you get the sea moth. Saves so much time ascending, gives you maybe another 10 seconds of down time. Those 10 seconds every time add up.

I fondly remember the base building and the random hose that clipped through the wall of that entrance in the first playthrough

I played this game years ago but couldn't stick with it for more than a handful of hours. Certain things seemed a bit tedious but I might have to try again!

I always come back to subnautica around Christmas. It’s a very happy time of year. Someday I’ll have a girlfriend to spend Christmas with instead of subnautica

I gotta ask: did you/did Lobos ever consider playing Satisfactory on stream? I get that it's probably too time consuming to go very far in it, but I'd love seeing that so much!
