I've played the heck out of this game but still love a Lobos playthrough! :D

Just curious, because you keep scanning for stuff that is readily available without scanning if you just go to the caves, have you never visited the cave system on the Gun Island? There is a lot of Lithium, Diamonds, Gold, etc. in them. That is what the Cyclops excels at, you build it, add lockers to it, go to the island and loot everything in one trip :).

I named my Cyclops the SeaTigur DST after the SeaQuest DSV ^^ It was my mobile base building and " _To boldly go_ " vessel.

Also, seeds don't expire - they can always be planted, they just can't always be eaten with healthy benefits. Plus, if you grow plants, you can use them in a bioreactor. Note: I am 99% sure on the seed thing, as I had 'rotten' seeds and they still grew new plants.

I am 100% sure that you are absolutely correct. Even rotten melons can be planted and cut for seeds, so it's a pain to watch two playthroughs in succession where Lobos discards rotten seeds (it just so happened that I was watching his first playthrough of Subnautica for the third time when this playthrough happened).
