excellent video and for me best one ive seen to help me determine if i want to get one. how many flights to date have you used it on? any problems with recovery parts getting tangled?

Hi Tom, I have used it over 15 times. Only issues were (1) failed to arm, and (2) failed to tether. Took me two hours of searching in the latter case. Wrap your chute tightly according to directions and works really well. Always delights the onlookers!

Great video! I just purchased a chute release and had two questions 1. Is there anything special you do to protect it from the ejection charge and 2 to you have to wait until you're at the pad to arm it. Thanks

I always use a handful of "dog barf" and frequently also use a Kevlar or Nomex chute protector. With the latter, I attach it to the shock cord a foot or so below the chute attachment point so that it does not interfere with the chute release. Not sure this is necessary, though.

Cool thanks!!!! Do you usually arm it at the pad, or can you arm it when you pack your parachute?
