Does misting their hair everyday make their roots swell, after a fresh retwist? My daughter has 4c hair and once her dreads are wet it looks as if I never retwisted it. We are one year in and in feel like I’m still learning, I also think that I’ve stunted her hair growth by not watering it everyday 😫

I’m not sure, I mist my daughters hair and it doesn’t affect her retwist until the next week or so. Try using aloe Vera juice and water mixed together. & as far as growth you can get some rosemary oil and apply it twice or 3 times a week.

How do you do it when it’s time for bed? cause my daughter locs be so stuck together

I will have a video showing what I do soon, but i moisturize her locs first then I put in 2 twist straight back or u can do 2 braids and she just wears a bonnet. Her locs use to be stuck together a lot to so I found doing it this way helps

Is frizzing after one month with 2 strand locs normal or did i under moisturize ? Will this routine help with that ?

It really depends, everyone’s locs goes through a different journey. Frizzing is good honestly, ur locs may Loc faster than others. Frizzing after one month sounds like you moisturized just enough 💕

Hiiii !! Water is a definite, you can use regular water or rose water which is my personal favorite. & oil yes. You can use an oil mist, coconut oil, or whichever is your favorite. I personally love the oil mist for everyday use✨
