I do this every wash. Twist them after 20 min in a micro fiber towel and leave them in about a week, then out for two weeks, then repeat the cycle. Its how I keep them separated because ive never twisted in 6+ years of growth. I love the style and so does everyone else.

You can do loc knots on the long one for a more even look

Your hair looks so pretty. It’s very flattering on you! I just did my first set of rope twists and I used an Herbal Essence mousse (different from yours) and they came out so bomb! I plan to do it again real soon. Be mindful of the bonnet on your eyes. I eventually had to switch to a convex type eye mask. The flatness puts too much pressure on the eyes and it can cause vision impairment.

Oh no! Have you tried spritzing them with anything like water and sealing it in with oil? What products did you use on your locs before installing the twists?
